First, you are wasting your time fishing the Klamath without an outfitter. And Mario has this river wired. He knows the holes and seams to hit and sets the boat up for the best presentation. His equipment is top quality. In 2 days fishing we had 42 steelhead caught and released. A few 1/2 pounders, but most ranged 3 to 10 pounds. Can’t even count how many bites and hook up but lost we had. Ad to this, Mario is just one heck of a nice guy. Plus, he is willing to share his knowledge. I definitely plan a return trip.
